At a local Flint school Tom Gores, FlintNOW, the National Basketball Players Association, and the Pediatric Public Health Initiative kicked off a week of providing 10,000 booklets of gift certificates for healthy foods, totaling more than $300,000. Children enjoyed learning about healthy lifestyles from Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, who is leading the initiative.
