Flint Now
In 2016, Flint native Tom Gores founded FlintNOW in response to the water crisis in his hometown. Since then, FlintNOW has focused on community development, education, and improving the quality of life for Flint residents, partnering with multiple community organizations over the years including the United Way, Vision to Learn, Toys for Tots Flint and the Flint Promise scholarship program. In 2023, FlintNOW partnered with the Community Foundation of Greater Flint to create The FlintNOW Fund to continue its work in supporting organizations in Flint focused on education, community development, nutrition, and health care initiatives.
